Kelly Laga Sciandra, Esq.
Kelly joined the firm in 2009 shortly after her admission to the New York State Bar. Initially, she helped set up and operate the Rochester, New York office location.
While born and raised in Buffalo New York, she attended Elmira College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree and later her Juris Doctor from Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan. Kelly took advantage of an opportunity to transfer to the main law office and back to the Buffalo area.
She has been practicing exclusively Social Security Disability Law since joining the firm and was just recently admitted to the Western District of New York Federal Court. She has been honored to help clients navigate through all levels of the process, including answering questions on whether to file, to representing a client’s interests at an administrative hearing or appeals process.
Kelly has gained valuable experience from representing clients at hundreds of disability hearings, attending Social Security conferences, discussing cases and theories with colleagues and reading case material. She is always will to share her time and experience with clients and reassure them they are not alone in navigating a complex area of law. In her spare time, Kelly is an avid reader and is also active in fundraising events and programs at her local library. Kelly has become an avid hockey fan and is always excited watching and attending games during the season.
